NFL Rumors: Karlos Dansby Playing With One Arm

by Craig Ballard

In recent weeks we have seen the Miami Dolphins take steps backwards. The word out of Miami is that Karlos Dansby has been playing with one arm for some time now.

Dansby appears to have a torn bicep that he suffered several weeks ago, and a dislocated finger. It seems that surgery to repair the bicep would sideline the LB for several months and he does not want to miss any playing time.

The Dolphins are back to their former ways of messing up would-be INTs, and Dansby is one of the worst offenders for turning INTs into nothing. We see a reason for this now as he is pretty much playing with one arm so securing an INT would be next to impossible for the 9 year veteran.

It is impressive to note that Dansby is (by far) the Dolphins top tackler. However we are seeing him struggle lately in that area too. Even scrambling QBs have become an issue for Dansby to tackle as he is playing through significant pain. His lowest solo tackle game was 4 solo tackles in week 4 vs the Arizona Cardinals, but he has just 4 in each of the last 2 games.

Dansby is showing heart by playing through the injuries to try to support his team. He is very upset about the 2 losses in 4 days to terrible teams like the Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills. Despite playing with pain he is itching to get back on the field and help his ‘Phins turn around their recent poor play (3 straight losses)

Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks play at Miami next weekend. Lynch is a guy that can put a hurting on a healthy player so this should be a particularly tough test for the entire D, and certainly for a banged-up Dansby.

Dansby makes just under $9 million so it is good to see him doing everything in his power to earn his salary. If the rumor is true then the bicep injury will not get better (likely will hurt more and more).

Here is another article but it is not something that can be C & P'd simply b/c there are a series of excellent pics with arrows and circles showing:

The Miami Dolphins lost to the Buffalo Bills Thursday night. As we look back at the game, there are several "what if" moments that could have led to a different result at the end of the game. One of those was a third quarter incomplete pass from Ryan Tannehill intended for a wide open Charles Clay - if Tannehill was accurate on the pass, the team had a big gain at worst, and a touchdown at best.

The pics are great! Sheck it out folks!
